Giant Snacks was in need of a brand makeover in order to remain competitive in the marketplace. Their logo was dated and inconsistencies in their branding needed realignment and to be turned in a positive direction.
A refresh of the logo needed to look more dynamic and fresh without deviating too far from their legacy logo in order to retain their loyal customer following.
Retaining their original color scheme and their iconic white bison were a must. Bold strokes were added to the letter forms to give the name more visual weight. Setting the type on an arch and adding tonal accents helped to give the brand a more cheerful and modern appeal.
An engaging new package design followed in the process. A more dynamic blue tone was selected for the brand and strict color standards were implemented to ensure a consistent look across the entire line.
The resulting packaging and merchandising pieces helped to give them a stronger shelf presence to compete in the market.
