Wildlife Art
Creating artwork has been second nature to me for as long as I can remember and throughout my childhood I gravitated to drawing, painting and all types of crafts as a hobby. As my talents progressed through grade school, high school and eventually college I realized that my passion for creativity and the sense of fulfillment and accomplishment it gave me made art and design the obvious choice for a career.
At the same time my passion for artwork was growing so too was my passion for the outdoors. Growing up in Minnesota I was introduced to hunting and fishing and the great outdoors by my father. Following him into the woods, sitting with him in the duck blind or in a boat fishing, I developed a deep admiration and respect for wildlife, nature and for the beauty of all of God's creations.
Those early days afield left lasting impressions of wonder, and amazement that inspire me today to pursue new experiences outdoors with my family and friends and to try re-create them in art for other to see and enjoy.
